Travelling is always fun - be it alone, with a partner or in a group. Travelling takes you places, sometimes known and sometimes unknown. A travel enthusiast has great chances of discovering new places while travelling to old or known destinations. Every travel journey has a story to cherish. You get new experiences, new cuisines, new people, new traditions and scenic beauty, time to cherish the wonders nature has endowed us with.

I personally love travelling. I have travelled to a lot of places both domestic and international, sometimes for work and majorly for pleasure. Every trip has given me new experiences.

Some were solo trips that included business trips, treks, visit to national parks others were adventure trips on bike, trips to historical places and forts of Maharashtra, the temples , Konkan qregion. Some trips were with my partner and others included kids as well.

We all should travel and explore new places,ofcourse not now when the pandemic has hit all the nations around the globe, but yes once we are out of danger.

This is the full merged blog of a 13-day road trip from Pune to Gujarat and back. Day wise separate blogs are available in the hyperlinks as this entire could be too lengthy to read. Day 1 Pune - Ahmedabad   We started from our home in Pune at 4:15am for Ahmedabad. The expected drive time was around 13 hours by the map ( excluding breaks). We took the Ravet route to Mumbai which was good. The saying "Mumbai never sleeps" could be sensed when people seemed rushing to their workplaces even before 7am. The roads between Mumbai and Vapi were terrible and took much longer. The roads were under construction and had heavy vehicles all the way. It needed patience and skills to navigate that route. After crossing Vapi , we finally stopped for a break and had lunch. After a filling lunch, we resumed our journey. Japalouppe & Imagicaa Snow world

Diwali season and friends visiting over. One such night while having conversations on varied topics , plan of visiting Japalouppe took shape. Japalouppe is an equestrian centre on the old Mumbai Pune Highway just before the toll plaza. They have horse riding training centre and a pet farm. We started from our home in pimple saurldagar at around 8:10am to reach Japalouppe by 8:45am on a Sunday morning. The tickets were booked online  in advance for the 9am tour. They have tours at different time slots throughout the day, choose the one that suits you best.  We got wrist bands from the reception which are mandatory for the entry. Someone from the crew escorted us to the breakfast area. They had a good variety of options ranging from bread butter, cheese sandwich to pav bhaji ,dhokla to pizza , pasta waffles and tea, coffee in beverages. This will be a day wise series of the Gujarat Trip planned in the month of December.  The days will then be merged for the final blog.
