Kannan Devan Hills is famous for its tea plantation in Munnar. It is owned by the Tatas. They have a tea museum by the name of Kannan Devan Hills plantation also called as Tata tea museum. They have an entry ticket. A documentary is played when you begin your trip inside the museum, it gives details on how tea plantation started in Munnar, about the people of Munnar, their occupation, household and other related knowledge. Once you come out of the documentary room, there are antique things on display which were the lifelines in the yesteryears. In the next section, you can hear the benefits of tea from an expert and then see how tea is being made/processed. Towards the end of the museum is a shop where you can buy all types of tea, coffee and lots of other stuff.
