Experiencing a good movie is a one thing, but watching it in an amazing looking movie theatre is a different experience. We went to see 'Sanju' at PVR Icon in Pavilion Mall, S.B. Road. The entrance and the theatre both had a great look. They have been beautifully done with the lights and the interiors. Looked like a different world and was quite an impressive experience. Westend Mall opened in Aundh months back and since then has been popular among the masses living in the surrounding areas and otherwise. It is located next to reliance mart and opposite to McDonalds in Aundh. Ample parking space is available underground and it houses quite a number of renowned brands for the shoppers. It also has cinepolis and a food court with a variety of options to choose from. A nice place to shop, hangout, spend time and eat!!

Pavilion mall has opened up in Senapati Bapat road in Pune, a few months back. There was this random decision of going there. Random showers sent the plan dangling, bit we still managed to give it a try. The Pavilion is located just adjacent to the JW Marriott hotel on the SB road. The entry is properly managed and they have ample parking space available. The mall has a huge variety of indian and foreign brands. There is a dinosaur world, a separate space allocated for the dinosaurs so that the kids can see how dinosaurs looked like. Variety of food options are available on the lower ground floor, where one can choose the option of their like.

I got to know about an annual flower show that happens at Empress Garden in Pune. It was a 4-day show from 25th till 28th Jan 2018. We planned a visit on 28th Jan that was a Sunday. Everything was nicely planned right from the parking to the parking tickets(₹20 for 4 wheelers and ₹10 for 2 wheelers) to the entry tickets(₹30 for anyone above 5 years). The entry and cut was properly marked. Flowers were beautifully arranged and there was a wide variety of flowers that were available for display. There were snacks available, potting material and other eatables to take away. The overall arrangement was nice and with a visit.

A new spot near Hinjewadi, around 3 kms from life republic and 18 kms from pimple Saudagar. This is kasarsai dam. Boating club, restaurant, clean washrooms, parking space and a tapri all integrated. The roads are clean and well maintained except for some 2-3 kms that are rough. The place is good, provides a nice motor boat experience (₹70 per person), speed boat is also available. The view is beautiful, has a few swans and other birds flying and swimming around. The sunset is beautiful. You get an opportunity to click loads of pictures of yourself, the sunset and nature as you like. The in-house restaurant is clean, though not aware of their spread and pricing. Being a hot month of April and guests from another city, wanted to plan a comfortable trip. Prati Shirdi was the instant solution. Located approximately 30 kms from my home in pcmc, we started in the evening when the weather started getting a bit cool. We took the old Mumbai Pune highway. Immediately once the toll is crossed, there's a left turn that leads to the temple. You can miss it if not careful. Toll is not applicable for 2 wheelers. The roads are quite well maintained, overall an easy drive. Paid car parking is available very near to the temple. Shoes to be taken off at the shoe stand right outside the temple gate. The temple is beautifully managed and you get to do the darshan in peace, not much of a hurry, though depends on the rush. You can be back in Pune in 3-4 hours of time. A comfortable trip in the hot weather. Photography is not allowed inside the temple premises.
