Lonavala day trip
Summer vacations are here again and the environment is a bit tensed due to the ongoing conflict between India and Pakistan. After over a week of uncertainty on being able to go for vacation, thought of going out for a short trip to Lonavala. Lonavala is around 60kms from home. We started by 6 in the morning. The roads being vacant we reached tiger point around 7:30 am. This is not the season to visit Lonavala, so it wasn't crowded but still enough people for the weekend considering off season. Different stall vendors were helping their customers with tables and chairs at the view point as per their convenient location. There's a hut at the view point, we got our table setup there. The view was nice, sun was shining bright and it was mother's day too. Kids had planned a surprise cake cutting which they had bought along supported by their dad.
