Travelling

We had a 2-night stay in Munnar and chose to stay at Blu haze resort. It was located quite off the road, with some more hotels around and a few local shops that also needed a vehicle to be accessible. The hotel was nice, neat and clean. We had booked one room with an extra bed, and everything was already setup before we reached there. The room was quite big and spacious. They had sofa set, TV, study table, curtains, etc. Everything was in place. Their room service was a bit slow, but that was manageable. The room did not have an electric kettle, which was a negative in this age. The breakfast buffet was nice and the staff was accomodating enough to accept the request of packing a few things for the little kids. We had a nice comfortable stay there.

En route to Munnar from Kochi, are two waterfalls : Cheeyappara and Valara About a km away from Cheeyappara waterfalls, one can find Valara waterfalls on the right. It is seen from the road and cannot be accessed. This waterfall looks milky and beautiful. A picturesque view

One of the hyped waterfalls on the way disappointmentfrom Kochi to Munnar. Though it was season but the water was very very less and it didn't really looked like something to spend time on. Being the first spot that was visited, it felt like a disappointment.
